When Juan Cheng was young, she often witnessed her dad using fire cupping to help her mom release pain and tension.
After arriving in the United States, Juan began to suffer from severe migraines and back pain due to enormous academic stress, a sedentary lifestyle, language barriers, and cultural issues. She tried many remedies, but none worked until I met a massage therapist who had learned acupuncture in China. She helped reduce my migraine and shoulder-neck pain issues, which stirred up my childhood memories and encouraged me to become a massage therapist.
Being a medical massage therapist, I’ve combined my medical knowledge and various manual therapy techniques to formulate a more effective, holistic approach to address a client’s specific needs. I understand human anatomy, physiology, and common medical conditions while maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism.
